Behind the idea are Mo and Peggy. We're both Egyptologists by profession. But since it is not always "excavation high season" in Egypt, it is creativity that drives us to develop new ideas. Peggy has been a graphic designer for almost 20 years and her profession as an Egyptologist. She creates these enchanting designs in invitations, birthday cards, postcards, gift tags, thank you cards and other creations.

In May 2019, our baby girl Jumana came to us, giving our little family the decisive "kick" to finally realize the long hatched ideas in this online shop. JUMA is derived from her name Jumana. It comes from Arabic, which means "pearl" and stands for something extraordinarily valuable.

Mo, the owner of this shop, is an Egyptologist specializing in the restoration and conservation of Egyptian artifacts. You can look at his works of art here - and also buy them ;)
